Welcome to Shipwrecked Wiki!
Latest as of December 11th, 2013
Apple players, just letting you know I've updated the wiki to reflect all the additional quests available to you. You can see them listed here on the Standard Quests page, and also in the Apple Quest Tree. It appears the Apple players went from 54 to 88 Standard Quests.
Other news I've received about the Apple version of Shipwrecked is that they do not plan to include Trading (as in the Trading Port) nor the Ship of Ages. However, other locations are in the works (not sure if this means Atlantis or not) so some other means of travel will be offered soon.
And to repeat what I said yesterday, the Apple players will not have the Air Ship, and will instead simply 'explore the jungle'. So when reading the walkthroughs here on the wiki, the Android players will still use the Air Ship when the walkthrough tells them to, and the Apple players will explore the jungle. When in doubt, refer to the quest text on your own device as to where to explore :)

Two new quests added to the wiki:
High Winter Fun - a Limited Edition quest for the Holidays in which a few of the castaways team together to make an ice castle into a Winter Light Show. You will need 11 Swords and 9 Hours of time to complete. The quest ends with a purchase of a Premium Item, Milk and Biscuits; you can simply ignore the purchase and wait for the quest to expire if you want to save your Gold Bars. This quest is available on Apple.
Bernie Ain't Got Nothin' On Me - a Standard Quest that is available after finishing My Own Private Burrow, and brings back Corporal Kingmaker as he makes this cool scaling wall, also called the Training Ground. You will need 14 Swords and 24 Hours of time to complete. As of now I am not seeing this on Apple yet.
Big news is that version 1.0.8 for the Apple OS was released, and with it the new neighbor system! So download the latest version, set up your KiwiID, and start visiting other people's islands!
In addition to the new Social feature, Kiwi included a whole array of quests! These quests are already available here on the wiki, but there may be a slight difference in them: the Apple version will NOT have the Air Ship... lucky dogs! That is right, Kiwi confirmed they will not provide the Air Ship in the Apple OS, but users will simply explore the jungle instead of risking their Swords on the glitchy Air Ship. So Apple users... you dodged a bullet there! Patience has its benefits!
By my count, I estimate about 34 quests added to the Apple OS. It will take me some time to update the wiki so that it shows on the Apple Quest Tree, and to add notes about the Air Ship to each relevant walkthrough. But for now, here is the list of added quests I've compiled:
- Being Social!, 'Bout Time for Botany, A Sultan on the Beach, All Along the Island Front, All For The Dame, Ask and Ye' Shall Receive, Blackheart's Lair, But You Can't Predict the Weather, Commanding Attention, Glasgow Budo, Jesse is a Good Friend of Coral's, Klatchmaker Matchmaker, My Best Friend's Habitat, My Own Private Burrow, Not Either/Or, Oar We Can Go Together, Obsessed With the Image, Protect Ye' Neck, Tad and Ben Build A White Castle, Thanks for the Tank!, The Essence of a Garden, The Great, Green Wonder, The Houses of Heeling, The Island Consulate, The Object for Reflection, The Round Table, The Royal Island Club, The Sword of Destiny, This Side of Charleston, Too Much Time On His Hands, Try Not To Flip Out, Wait `Til You See My Pick, We All Be Just Players, Which Way is the Party?
Latest as of December 6th, 2013
Searching for a Hobby - a Standard Quest that appears after finishing The Great, Green Wonder in which you help Tad and Ben put together a Lawn Chess Set. You will need 14 Swords and 41 Hours of time to complete. Since this quest uses the Air Ship, it is not available for the Apple players.
Latest as of December 3rd, 2013
The Thanksgiving break is over and Kiwi is back to work making more quests!
All You Need Are Togas is a Standard Quest following The Houses of Heeling, as we create another healing house, the Crystal Spire. You will need 10 Swords and 26 Hours of time to complete. On completion of the quest you get a bonus Sword, always a nice surprise. Unfortunately, this quest not available for the Apple players.
Inform Her of Snow is a Limited Edition Quest where you make a Snow Machine for the island. All you need are 6 Swords and 5 Hours of time to complete. In order to start the quest, you will need to move your Decadent Palace, if you have one.
Seems I misspelled The Houses of Heeling when I added it to the wiki last week. Hopefully I've corrected all references.
Video Ads Player update: The player actually worked for me for two days! Yay! But then it hasn't worked for me since so I'm not sure what to expect with it. For those of us living outside of the U.S. (like me), the Video Player likely won't work very much for us. At least you will know if it is ready to work because when you open your SW game, your screen will automatically center to the Video Player platform, and little sparkles will appear around it.
So what do you think about Kiwi changing their in-game promos from rewarding Swords to rewarding Gold Bars? I personally think they should bring back the Sword rewards. Let us know your opinion in our forum: http://shipwreckedwiki.com/forums/showthread.php?281

Two new quests have been added to the wiki: A Feast for a Brat (a Limited Edition Quest), and The Houses of Heeling (a Standard Quest). I don't have time for all the details, but the Walkthoughs should give you the information you need.

One new quest for Shipwrecked:
My Own Private Burrow - we get to see Esmeralda after a long absence as she seeks out her own Hideout in this Standard Quest. This quest becomes available after Commanding Attention, and needs 11 Swords and 15 Hours of time to complete. One nice surprise is a bonus Sword at the end of the quest! Unfortunately, this is not available for the Apple players.
I've gotten some news from Kiwi about the Video player:
- "Hope everyone is liking the Video player. We've resolved the issues with it and it's staying on for good now. Users should be able to watch 10 videos per day, but a lot of the videos unfortunately aren't available outside the US so non-US players might not see as many as US players."
So unfortunately for folks outside of the US (like me) the Video player may not work for you, or possibly, may not give you as much of a variety of videos to watch. In my case, it simply doesn't work. If you live outside of the US and are able to watch videos, tell us how you did it in the forums. I'd love to know!
I'll be on the road next week and there may be some delays in updates on the quests.

Two new quests are new to Shipwrecked:
Commanding Attention - a new Standard Quest bringing back Corporal Kingmaker as he decides the Island needs a Command Post. This quest becomes available after Abominable Adventure, and needs 14 Swords and 56 Hours of time to complete.
Shadow For A Pirate - a new Limited Edition Quest in which Squidbane confesses he's been dreaming a lot lately about something 'wicked' he saw years ago. So using art therapy, Squid draws out the animated shadow of his nightmare on the Shadow Display you see here sans shadow. The final result is the animated shadow on the wall. In order to start this quest, you'll need to own a Bamboo House and then 'move' it, and in order to complete you'll need 8 Swords and 8 Hours of time.
I really like how the beginning of this LE Quest is different from how Kiwi normally starts their Shipwrecked LEs. Lately we've been asked to plant something common like Corn or Squash, but many of us plant that a lot for other quests and for the Kitchen. So I am glad to see something different at the beginning of this LE quest... having us do something like move a building. Thank you Kiwi!
I've heard from a player saying their Video Ads generator worked for them today. Mine is still not working, even after Clearing Data and uninstalling and reinstalling. But might be worth a tap to see if yours might be online again.

Argh! It's frustrating when you are typing something out, and it get's deleted! Well, that is what happened with details on today's new quests and I'm too frustrated to rewrite it right now. But just know that there are two new quests: Shadow For A Pirate - a Limited Edition Quest, and Commanding Attention - a Standard Quest. I promise to follow with more info tomorrow.

Two new quests have been added to the wiki:
All Along the Island Front - I get really disappointed when Kiwi ends a Standard Quest with the purchase of a Premium Item because one way or another we have to spend Gold Bars. I'm assuming this was a mistake by Kiwi and is not part of a new trend.
Over the Rainbow Falls - is another Standard Quest of the Atlantis series following the previous quest, The Gate. You work with Violet to construct the Atlantis Waterfall, a water and rock formation with an array of colors. This requires 11 Swords and at least 21 Hours of time, but a tricky part is you will need 3 Cherry Blossom Trees; the first time you plant one, each one requires 24 Hours of planting time and 8 Hours of watering time. I do not know if the game gives you credit for already owning three Cherry Blossom Trees since I did not own any before starting this quest. Let us know if you can own these beforehand! And since this is part of the Atlantis storyline, it is currently unavailable to the Apple players.
If you have tried Kiwi's new game, Westbound, and are looking for a Wiki and walkthroughs, check out Westbound Wiki. Michelle 'Raeyin' Gordon-Krohling (a name you should recognize from Kiwi's Support forums), and GordonC (Wiki Admin for the Brightwood Wiki), and I along with IvyGate and CoolBurnMtW are working together to build a Westbound Wiki. Hope to see you there!

A new Limited Edition Quest has been released for both Android and Apple and added to the Wiki:
Don't Worry If It Lands - A year ago this month, Shipwrecked released its first Limited Edition Quest and its theme was Thanksgiving. Well, that time is here again and another Thanksgiving Limited Edition quest has been released. This time, Violet and Tad put together a Thanksgiving Day Parade Float - Island Style. Well, more Turkey than Island but I'll give Kiwi credit for the Castaway touches (such as the Pufferfish Pump... clever). You will need 14 Swords and 16 Hours of time to complete this, and you have almost three weeks before it expires. If you do not want to do this quest, be sure not to plant any Squash for that length of time or you risk wasting Swords in the jungle.
A Limited Edition Quest originally released in March of 2013 has been rereleased for Apple players:
Rainbow Connection - Help Violet put together the Rainbow Maker using 11 Swords and 16 Hours of time. The actual finished item has some animation to it. 36 Hours are left to complete this quest.
Latest as of November 9th, 2013
Whoa! Another quest for the wiki, and so soon after the typical quests releases on Friday:
The Great, Green Wonder - There is a Medieval storyline developing in the Standard Quests of Shipwrecked, and The Great, Green Wonder is its latest addition. Starting with the quest, The Sword of Destiny, this puzzling question was put to us players: “Was it Tad's destiny to be on this Island in the first place?” along with hints that Tad has a secret and it would soon be revealed. I guess we'll learn in time, which gives some reassurance that Kiwi has a few more quests in the works.
Latest as of November 8th, 2013
Hi everyone, sorry for the delay but I am back from traveling and despite a bit of a cold, I am here with quest updates.
Cruzada de Muertos is a Limited Edition Quest available to Apple and Android users where you help rebuild a Day of the Dead Altar for the Mexican festival of Dia de Muertos. You will need 17 Swords and 15 Hours of time to help put this together. If you do not want to start this quest, avoid planting Corn for the next three weeks (yikes!).
The Gate is a Standard Quest in which you go back to Atlantis with Sebastian and piece together the Atlantis Gateway. You will need 11 Swords and 23 Hours of time to complete the quest. The Gate depends on completion of A Great Deed, and unfortunately is not available to Apple players due to it requiring the Ship of Ages.
The Object for Reflection is a Standard Quest where Violet seeks out a peaceful place to do yoga on the island. 11 Swords and 20 Hours of time are needed to complete the Meditation Spot. This quest depends on completion of The Essence of a Garden, and due to its use of the Air Ship is unavailable to Apple players at this time.
Edited to add this quest for the Apple players:
Sea to Shore is a Limited Edition Quest rereleased for the Apple players and available for the next couple of days. Violet puts together this animated aquarium of four different salt-water fish and you'll need 12 Swords and 10 Hours of time to help her. This was originally released for Android in March of 2013 but is no longer available for the Android players.
Players have often asked about having a newbie guide for Shipwrecked, and I think that is a great idea. So I thought I'd start with a page that shows the core quests in Shipwrecked, and the order in which they are played: Shipwrecked Core Quests. By completing these 20 quests, you get all the main Generators (Quarry, Stone Cutter, Brick Kiln...) and all five free Castaways, and can be completed with a reasonable amount of swords. Once you knock out those quests then you are free to choose which other story lines to follow if you decide to continue with the game. This page is a work-in-progress so let me know if you have any suggestions.

Kiwi is keeping me busy lately! A new quest has been added to the wiki:
The Essence of a Garden involves helping Violet put together a water feature to compliment the Botanical Garden uncovered in the previous quest, 'Bout Time for Botany. You will need 11 Swords and 18 Hours of time to help complete the quest, 9 of those Swords are used in the Air Ship. In order to get this pool-like structure, you will need to complete the quest But You Can't Predict the Weather. The good news is that the last task of the quest needs Water Lilies for decoration, which most of us already own from early quests in the game. Due to the Air Ship, this quest is not available for the Apple users yet.
It appears the Video Ads generator is back offline. A lot of people reported success getting Ticket Stubs and cashing them in for goods, but for others (me), it never worked. So I'll go out on a limb and say that it stopped working shortly after it started. At least Kiwi is trying to get it fixed!
Another new feature, the SpinWheel, recently showed up in the Android games and is similar to the Golden Seeds and Scratch-off Tickets. It is yet another way to receive a random reward by spending a valuable resource, which in this case is 5 Swords. Now this is just my opinion, but 5 Swords seems an awfully lot to spend with a minimal chance for two possible Sword rewards. I hope Kiwi will give us the option to remove this structure from our islands.
While waiting to earn more Swords in Shipwrecked, you can look into Kiwi's latest reskin of their Brightwood Adventure's engine: Westbound. If you like Shipwrecked, you may enjoy Westbound as it switches to the Wild West theme and offers up all new quests and dialog.
Usually quests are released on Tuesdays and Fridays, and this coming Tuesday I will be on vacation. Expect updates to the wiki to occur later than usual, up to 24 hours later. In the meantime you may find other users might have posted walkthroughs in our forum.

Happy Halloween! Kiwi has release a quick, sword-free Limited Edition quest called Tricking Tad, in which Tad Trick-or-Treat's around the island. The quest finishes with the Premium purchase of a new Jack-O-Lantern decoration. This quest is available for both Apple and Android.
I'm hearing lots of reports that the Video Ads generator is back online! I don't know all the details yet but seems you can watch 10 videos at a time, then wait 30 Min - 1 Hr before being able to watch any more. At the moment, the Video Ads generator does not work for me so I haven't been able to test it. But if you've held off on tapping it lately, time to try it again!

With my ISP back up, here are the details on the two new quests:
A Great Deed, gives Sebastian the helm of the Ship of Ages as he travels to Atlantis and learns of a connection between the Atlanteans and his favorite region, the Far East. You will need 14 Swords, 18 Hours of Castaway time, and completion of the previous quest, Perception is Not A Felony, in order to take on the building of the Atlantis Stupa. This is a colorful addition to your Atlantis collection and has decent stats too. And unfortunately, being part of the Atlantis series, this quest is not available for the Apple users yet.
|Tad's TP Plan, an LE Quest released for both Android and Apple in which Violet uncovers a new house in the jungle (just how many houses does she have???) and Tad plans a Halloween prank for it. Help Tad finish the job by using 5 Swords and 3 Hours of time and have this... uh... interesting addition to your island. To start this quest, you will need to plant one Tea. Thank you again, Kiwi, for another low sword-count quest!
And a big thank you to Kiwi for providing more opportunities to earn Swords. I've noticed more in-game offers to try new Kiwi games, helping me build up my Sword inventory. Keep up the great work!

Perception is Not A Felony, takes us past our last Atlantis quest, Blackheart's Bash, as Violet and Ben explore further in Atlantis and uncover the Atlantis Terrace. Equipped with 14 Swords and 30 Hours of Castaway time, you will help piece together another building for your Atlantis collection. Expect average stats and graphics from your new acquisition.

New quests have been added to the Wiki:
All In His Grill, an LE Quest released for both Android and Apple in which you help put together a BBQ Pit. All you need are 5 Swords and 5 Hours of time to have this nice addition to your garden. To start this quest, you will need to plant and harvest a Sweet Potato. Thank you Kiwi for a low sword-count quest!
Blackheart's Bash is a Standard Quest from the Atlantis series where Blackheart and Tad team up to uncover the Elephant Edifice. As the name and series imply, it is an elephant and it is the same shade of blue as all the other Atlantis buildings, but with some colorful accents. And because it is an Atlantis quest, it isn't available for the Apple users yet. But even without access in your game to the quest, you can still read up on the storyline of these characters here on the wiki, which took a bit of a turn in this quest. Seems Blackheart is a clever guy; the question, now, is Tad?
Version 1.0.7 of Shipwrecked for Apple is now available in the iTunes store. At the moment I cannot pick up on any changes or new features with this update. Please let me know if you spot anything.
Version 2.2.4 of Shipwrecked for Android is now available in Google Play. Many of us hoped it would fix the problem with the new Video Ads generator, but I haven't heard of it working for anyone yet. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and cleared data and it still doesn't work for me. Let us know if it works for you.
The update seemed to fix the problem with the Frankenstein citizen from A Steady Purpose. It also seemed to fix the blinking "New Quest" arrows every time we exited and returned to our games. Nice!
I'll be sure to report any other changes or fixes as I learn of them.

I have finished updating all of the walkthroughs for the Standard Quests so they now include:
- Complete Sword counts, including Air Ship tasks
- Totals for Swords and Gold Bars earned in a quest
- Accurate time totals for uncovering items in the jungle
- Approx date the quest was released
- Complete Dialog between the Characters
- Updated dependencies between quests
- Active Quest designations for Android and Apple devices
With all this new data I was able to add some new features to the Wiki. On the Standard Quests page you'll now find a table that provides totals for Active Quests and for all the Swords needed to complete all the Standard Quests in the game. Interested? It currently takes 723 Swords to complete all the Standard Quests for Android, and 286 for Apple! Wow!!!
Another feature added is a new Quest Tree which graphically shows the relationship between all of the Standard Quests in the game. Since Android and Apple have different quests available to their devices, I have created two separate trees, and their links can be found in the menu under Quests -> - Standard Quests as:
-- Android Quest Tree
-- Apple Quest Tree
I'm not in any hurry to apply all of these updates to the expired Limited Edition Quests. New LE Quests are automatically added in the new format, and I will update any expired LEs that might be re-released for the Apple players, but the rest of the LEs will have to wait. And as for the LEs in the Quest Trees, it isn't all that necessary to show them as most LEs are dependent on Surprise Supplies, making for a tall skinny Tree.

Two new Atlantis quests have been released:
Where Are Our Seats? and following it is Sitting It All Together. In both of these quests you uncover stadium seats for your existing Atlantis Arena. You will need a total of 16 Swords and 16 Hours of Castaway time to uncover the seats. There is a task in both quests that expects you to move each piece of stadium seats 3x. Do not worry about how it should look; just move each piece 3x to move on to the next task. You can always sort out proper placement later, if there is such a thing (I honestly don't know... let me know if you do!). In order to start these quests you will need to have finished "The Fish in the Net". Unfortunately, since these are Atlantis quests, they are unavailable for Apple players at this time.
I've been busy updating more of the Standard Quests, and have even started marking which quests are available for Android and those for Apple. Although there are quite a few unavailable for Apple players, there are a handful that are unavailable for Android players... interesting! The list also includes Swords Required, Swords Earned, and Gold Earned, so be sure to check out the updated list of Standard Quests and see these changes for yourself.
Still no sign of citizen Frankenstein in my game. Any sight of him yet in yours?
The Video Ads feature seems to still be offline for the Android users (unavailable for Apple), and likely to remain so until at least the next game update.
I've also added a new section to the menu for News Archive in order to make our Main Page load faster. Only the past three months of News will be available on this home page, and the rest will be saved to its own Year-Month page. If looking for a particular topic you recall reading on this home page but cannot find it, I suggest using the search feature in the upper right-hand corner of the Wiki.

Sail the Ocean Blue is a new Limited Edition Quest in which Violet explores history as she helps reconstruct the Santa Maria in honor of Columbus Day. You will need 11 Swords and 11 Hours of time to complete. In order to start this quest you will need to have an Almond Tree, and the last task asks you to purchase the Premium Décor item Florentine Villa. You can either skip the last task with 2 Gold Bars, or simply wait until the quest expires in six days.
Kiwi Representative, Sean, posted on the Kiwi Support forum that the Video Ads feature "will be returning shortly. We experienced some bugs and took it offline to resolve those issues. Look for it to return in our next update. Apologies for the inconvenience!" So we can take a break from tapping on it and get back to decorating and completing quests.

So the Video Ads generator has been available for two days and it still isn't working for me. Is it working for you? If so, we'd like to hear about it in the Forum. Let us know what country you are in and what kind of device you have. Hopefully Kiwi will get this sorted soon, but it would be nice to know if we could fix it on our own.

The Fish in the Net is a new Standard Quest in which Bern finally gets to travel to Atlantis and help construct the Court of Justice. You will need 11 Swords and 45 Hours (!) of time to complete this addition to your Atlantis collection. You will need to have completed the Move Rocks and Chairs quest in order to start this one.
A new addition has been placed on our islands, the Video Ads generator. I was able to watch the same four-second video 4x's before it wouldn't let me watch it anymore. I earned 4 Movie Stubs which can be traded in for any of the four resources: 2 Movie Stubs = 120 Silver, 2 Movie Stubs = 100 Spirit, 6 Movie Stubs = 1 Gold Bar, 10 Movie Stubs = 1 Sword. At the moment there is no special page in the Wiki for this new generator or the Movie Stubs, but I'll be sure to add one as I know more. In the meantime, join us for discussion in the Forum.
Looks like Frankenstein still hasn't shown up for those of us who completed Frankenstein's Lab. Hang tight, I have faith that Kiwi will get this sorted out soon.
The Helper sale is over and hopefully all the pop-ups that drag down the loading of the game are gone too for the time being. Golden Seeds seem to be the only promotion at the time.
If you were looking for the Premium décor "Autumn Leaves" and "Deciduous Tree" but you already finished their LE Quests, you can buy them again for a short time. Seems they are set to expire at the end of the day today. Yet one more thing I do not understand about Kiwi and logic like this... to limit access to Premium items.

Apple users: Something Spooky's Lurking is a Halloween Limited Edition Quest made available for you. If you don't want to do the quest, be sure to remove any Apple Trees from your island so you don't advance the quest.
I've been overhauling the early quests of the game (for both Android and Apple) and made some changes. There is no longer a Welcome Tasks - Violet series of tasks; it has been replaced by Kiwi's new version: Island Sweet Island. In the Being Social! quest, you visit Violet's island instead of Mrs. Abernathy's. There are some other changes, but too boring to detail here.
Some other changes of more importance are that I am now tallying all Swords spent on a quest, as well as all Swords earned as task rewards. These numbers will be displayed within each walkthrough, as well as in the tables for the Standard Quests and the Limited Edition Quests. The final tally of all Swords needed in the game will be available soon.

A Steady Purpose is a new Limited Edition Quest in which Squidbane uncovers Frankenstein's Lab, a spooky addition for Halloween.. You will need 17 Swords and 11 Hours of time to complete this building. If you do not want to take on this quest, be sure to avoid planting any Squash or having any left over in the ground until the end of October. With the new building you should get a new animated character... Frankenstein! But apparently he is shy because even though I've finished the quest, he is not visible on my island yet.
Just a word of warning for Android users: Kiwi has offered another Sale so you can buy Helpers with Swords. So whenever you open your game, tap carefully so you don't accidentally purchase an unwanted helper with those Swords you just purchased. It you accidentally purchase a helper, be sure to email Kiwi and insist on a refund, and keep emailing them until they do.

But You Can't Predict the Weather is a new Standard Quest, in which Ben tries to invite Violet to a romantic Picnic Spot. Besides needing 8 Swords and 21 Hours of time, you will also need to be able to plant Grapes, and own the Grapery, the Cork Maker, and the Queen Anne Apartment. The Blue Apartment and the Red Apartment will not work for this quest; it will need to be the light-colored Apartment. In order to start this quest, you will need to first complete, Obsessed With the Image.
Other news is that an upgrade for Shipwrecked is available for Android, taking the game from version 2.2.2 to 2.2.3. I'm not aware of any obvious changes for this upgrade.
I am slowly becoming more aware of the differences between the Android version of Shipwrecked and the Apple version. This Wiki was written with the Android version in mind so at the moment there is no designation in the walkthroughs as to what quests are available for Apple. But a quick list of limitations for the Apple version is as follows:
- No Limited Edition Quests
- No Neighbor System
- No Trading Port, so therefore no Smuggler's Cove quests or any involving any trading.
- No Ship of Ages so no Atlantis quests
- No Air Ship so no quests requiring the Hot Air Balloon
If you have any questions about the Apple version, feel free to ask them in our Forum. I can't promise I'll get you the right answer, but I can try. Just be sure to let us know if you are on Apple or Android.

A significant amount of Premium items went missing from the Shipwrecked Shop back when the game upgraded from 2.1.8 to 2.1.9 in August. Many emails were sent to Kiwi Support (I emailed them too) pointing out that these items were missing and naturally we expected this to be corrected by the "developers". Well, today we finally learned what is going on. Kiwi has decided that many of these Premium items now have an "Expiration". Some of these items will Expire along with their related Limited Edition Quest. Other items will only be available during special sales.
If you don't purchase Premium items then this will not affect you too much. But there is a principle here that needs to be addressed. Kiwi has changed the rules on how players can spend their resources, and did so without informing them. That is not right. The expectation had long been established that players could purchase these items from the Shipwrecked Shop at will, and occasionally enjoy a discount during random Sales. Kiwi has disregarded this expectation, and has decided to offer these items at their discretion, if at all. All the while, players send Kiwi their real life money, often with the specific intent to purchase Gold Bars for Premium items like the ones that we now learn are Expired.
I fully support companies needing to tweak gameplay... it is their game after all. But, to keep their customers, they need to keep their customers informed.

A new quest has been added to the wiki: Four Color Commemoration, an LE Quest requiring 13 Swords and 15 Hours of your time to help uncover the Comic Book Gallery. This build is very modern looking so check it out before committing it to your island:
Still no word on the Floating Throne not moving, as well as many other open issues.
I am slowly making progress with the new quest format. Each quest is getting overhauled and checked over for accuracy.

This is for Apple users only... I upgraded my iPhone to iOS7 tonight, and successfully carried my Shipwrecked game (and others) through the craziness. I won't promise that the steps I followed will guarantee that your game will be waiting for you after your upgrade so please do your research before upgrading. But I think some steps are important and worth mentioning:
Before upgrading to iOS7...
- Make sure you know your Game Center login. Work all that out before doing any upgrades.
- Upgrade your Shipwrecked Game to the latest version on your iOS device. At the time of the update, I upgraded to Shipwrecked version 1.0.6.
- After the latest version of Shipwrecked is installed, open up the game. You should see a pop-up asking you to log your Shipwrecked game into Game Center:
- Click the 'Continue' button shown on the pop-up. Your Shipwrecked game should now be linked to your Game Center account. Repeat this for any other games that may have similar setups, like DragonVale, etc.,
- When ready, begin your iOS7 update. For me it took about 40 minutes. When it was done, my Shipwrecked game and other games resumed from when I left them before the update.
I am making a lot of assumptions here, so please do your research, but that is what worked for me.
If you have any problems and your game restarts from the beginning, email Kiwi from within your game: How to Email Kiwi Support From Within the Game

UPDATE: ISP is back up, and Move Rocks and Chairs has been added to the wiki. I can confirm that currently the Floating Throne does not move once you start building it. Hopefully Kiwi can fix that up pretty quickly. Unless... hmmm... they are being clever and this has deep ties to the storyline of the quest... something about a goddess named Astarte or Ashtarte (depending on Blackheart's mood). Maybe she had a floating throne that could not move? Oh the irony! Personally, I couldn't find a connection there so hopefully we'll be enlightened as the quest series progresses. When you are ready to take on this quest, be prepared with 11 Swords and 29 Hours of time to complete it.
It appears Kiwi has been tweaking The Royal Island Club quest again. If you are having any problems my best suggestion is to contact Kiwi Support. Fingers crossed this will be fixed once and for all.
My home ISP connection has been down for almost 24 hours so I haven't been able to update the wiki with the latest Atlantis quest, "Move Rocks and Chairs". But one of our forum regulars, IslandBrat, has completed the quest and is reporting that she cannot move the completed 'throne', which is a problem for her and likely others. If you have any suggestions for this, please let us know in the Forum.
And before my ISP went down, I finished work on How to Get the Iron Mine. Also, How to Get the Lumber Mill has been updated to include images of all the stages of the Lumber Mill.
Currently in the works is a quest tree showing all of the Standard Quests and their relationships to each other. Once I get a basic version of it running, I'll share a link in the Forum to get feedback, so keep an eye out there for updates. Fingers crossed my ISP is up and running soon so I can do this!

A new LE Quest has been added: Which Way Did He Go? This is a very short quest not requiring any Swords. The new premium décor, the Giant Teddy Bear is expected for the last task.
A new How-To has been added to the wiki: How to Get the Stone Cutter.

Hi everyone, some additions to the wiki to report. Overdue or not, here they are:
The Arena Addition, an Atlantis quest using 13 Swords and a minimum of 64 Hours (I repeat, 64 Hours!) of time to construct the Atlantis Arena East. You'll need the Farm House for the first task, and if you don't already have that one, it will take 12 Hours to construct it. So prepare to settle in for a long quest. This quest continues the building of the Atlantis Arena complex, and is dependent on completing Not Coming To Carry Us Home.
All For The Dame - Dorothy is back with a Standard Quest in which you build the Gondola Lift. You will need 14 Swords and a minimum of 39 Hours of time to complete this quest. And in order to start this quest, you will need to have finished This Side of Charleston.
Don't Let the Sun Surprise You, a Limited Edition Quest in which you need 14 Swords and a minimum of 12 Hours to help restore the Mexican Museum. This quest starts off a little differently than other recent LE Quests. For this one you will need the Bamboo House, and by tapping it, you will be advanced to the next Sword task. If you already own the Bamboo House but do not want to do this quest, I recommend hiding your Bamboo House in some far corner of your island, or sticking it in an Inventory Slot for the next 15 Days so you don't accidentally advance this quest.
I have also added a new How-To for the Steel Foundry: How to Get the Steel Foundry. It has an improved format and I will follow with similar How-To's for the rest of the Generators.
I am slowly updating the rest of the quests with the new structure. If you find errors with the new quest format, please let me know.

Two new quests and three new buildings have been added to the wiki. I have just about finished designing the new layout for the quest walkthroughs, and I am test driving it with these latest quests. A few more tweaks and I will apply this new format to the rest of the quests. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!
A Reality In Our Reach, a Limited Edition Quest in which you build the Tudor Palace. 14 Swords and about 8 Hours of time are used to complete this quest. A Premium House, the Diamond Chateau, is expected at the end of the quest but you may skip this purchase for 2 Gold Bars. This quest kicks off by owning 1 Banana Tree, so... no real option to keep from starting this quest. One small highlight in completing the Tudor Palace is that you get a one-time reward of 2 Gold Bars... not bad!
Not Coming To Carry Us Home, an Atlantis Quest in which you build the Atlantis Arena West. 13 Swords and about 40 Hours of time are used to complete this quest. You need to complete the quest, The Atlantis Arrr-Chive, in order to begin this latest quest. A single Sword is offered as a reward during the quest.
Seems the oversized graphics for many players are still a problem. Fingers crossed Kiwi will fix this in their next update.
It also appears Shipwrecked will not track how many neighbor slots you have paid for in Gold Bars. If you drop a neighbor after spending Gold Bars to add one, you are still expected to spend more Gold Bars if you intend to add any more neighbor slots.

Version 2.2.2 for Android came out and everything is BIG. It is annoying, especially if you are playing on a small screen like a phone, but I don't know of an easy fix at this time. Best thing I can suggest is to email Kiwi Support from within your game and report it: How to Email Kiwi Support From Within the Game
A new Standard Quest was added: Obsessed With the Image introduces a new tree, the Date Tree. You will need three of these trees, and they have a 20 Hr 'First Plant Time' then a 10 Hr 'First Water Time', so settle in for a long wait for the second task of this quest. Once watered, you will use a total of 4 Swords to find 4 Mosaic pieces (1 Sword for each). After spending time to 'clear away the brush', you will piece them together to make an image, much like the Hummingbird Puzzle in Establishing Practice. I haven't completed the stats on the Date Tree and the Mosaic pieces yet.

It has been a while since my last news update, but I've been plenty busy in the background. All of the quest walkthroughs are undergoing a major overhaul, with more useful information such as summaries for each quest (total # of Swords used, total # of Swords awarded), expiry dates for LE Quests, and accurate time durations. Also some not-so-useful but might be fun info like the castaway dialog that is included in each quest. Soon you'll be able to go back and read all of it in case you missed any of the soap-opera drama or jokes within the game. Fingers crossed all the quests will be spruced up in a week's time.
Two new quests were added to the wiki:
Not Your Average Space, an LE Quest in which you build the Miracle Garden shown to the left. You will need 16 Swords and approximately 35 Hours to help construct this explosion of color with below-average stats. You start this quest by planting Cranberries, so if you don't want this quest, avoid Cranberries for the next month.
and are two parts discovered in the Jungle when completing the Standard Quest Wait `Til You See My Pick (who makes up these names?) It is a very short quest requiring only 6 Swords (oops, I originally said 3), and you get two of the highest Silver and XP per hour buildings in the whole game. You can start this quest once you have finished Too Much Time On His Hands. The two parts look much better when the quest is completed and you place them side-by-side.
